Beth Welch, AMFT
Elizabeth (Beth) Welch is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, teens, families, and adults. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and then went on to get a Masters of Science in Child Life from the University of La Verne. While working as a certified child life specialist she decided to pursue her dream to become a therapist. She graduated with her Masters in Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute in Chatsworth, CA.
Beth has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including residential treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, community mental health centers, family counseling centers, and school-based counseling.
Beth incorporates family systems theory, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) into her practice. She facilities weekly groups and individual therapy, as well as couples and family sessions into her practice at Manifest Recovery in order to make sure that we are caring not just for clients but for their whole family.
