Jimmy has been working in the field of addiction treatment for over 15 years. After a successful 20+ year career on television and in film as a stuntman, severe injuries introduced him to opioids. His addiction ripped through his life and he lost everything. Always wide open and candid about his journey, Jimmy has a special gift in allowing his fellow addicts to feel safe and heard. He’s passionately dedicated to assisting people suffering from addiction find their way back to living healthy and productive lives. In November, 2013, after over a decade of putting the pieces back together, he was diagnosed with terminal cardio-myopathy and given 2 weeks to live. His only chance of survival, a heart transplant. He received his transplant in August, 2015. Jimmy’s gratitude is palatable and he’s making the best of his 2nd chance…one addict at a time.
