Miguel Guzman, CADC-1, CATC-11
Mr. Miguel Angel Guzman completed his addiction studies program in 2009 from Pierce College and obtained his CAADE certification from the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of California. In 2014, Mr. Guzman graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Addiction Studies and Social and Behavior Science. In 2017, he graduated from California State University of Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2010, Mr. Guzman received a recognition award by the Department of Mental Health for his work with individuals with co-occurring disorders. He has publicly advocated for individuals with substance abuse disorders, co-occurring disorders and homelessness at Department of Mental Health sponsored conventions and has appeared in various newsletters.
