Ryan began mentoring young people, many of whom saw surrendering to abstinence from drugs and alcohol an impossible task. Although this was not his experience, Ryan became aware of the gaps and inconsistencies in the quality of treatment, especially where his generation, the Millennials, are concerned. This opened his eyes to his purpose: to provide recovery services that not only get people clean and sober, but maintain long term sobriety by helping others rediscover their passions and build lasting, healthy relationships. He calls it, because the heart of recovery is about creating an alternative lifestyle to drugs, alcohol, and other self-destructive addictions. His handpicked clinicians and other team members are active participants in each individual’s evolvement. They are trained to respect, recognize and hear the unique needs of each person. Ryan has a B.A. from Chapman University. His life is fulfilled with work, family and friends, surfing, sky diving, snowboarding, hiking and whitewater rafting– but most of all—joy.
