Our Treatment Programs
Substance Abuse Disorders
Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) is an eight-week program developed by the University of Washington. Modeled after mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for depression and mindfulness-based stress reduction, MBRP tackles the very roots of addictive behavior by targeting two of the main predictors of relapse: negative emotions and cravings. Treatment centers, prisons, and Veterans Affairs centers across the country have implemented the program. A 2014 study published in JAMA Psychiatry found those in MBRP programs for substance use and heavy drinking experienced a significantly lower risk of relapse.
Matrix is an integrative model of treatment. It combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Contingency Management. The model teaches clients to analyze events and change thoughts, behaviors and lifestyle related to alcohol and other drug use. This approach creates explicit structure and expectations by creating the following experiences:
Establishes a positive, collaborative relationship with each client
Teach information and cognitive behavioral concepts
Positively reinforces behavior change
Provides corrective feedback when necessary/roll with resistance
Educates family regarding abuse recovery
Introduces and encourages self-help participation
Uses urinalysis to monitor drug use and take the issue of use “off the table”
At Manifest Recovery Centers, we endeavor to erase any barriers to sustained sobriety. To this end, we remain “connected” to our current and past clients via our telehealth platform. This enables our clinical staff to provide essential continuum of care on a virtual basis.
Our secure HIPAA compliant network allows for seamless connectivity and a convenient alternative to maintaining face- to- face sessions. This isn’t a modality for every client, but our clinical staff carefully screens to ensure this type of delivery is efficacious. Please note this treatment program is not available for our Trauma and Mental Health Program.
Community support is crucial to maintaining long-term sobriety. We are proud to offer our facility as a hub of kinship, education and support.Manifest Recovery Centers hosts a variety of meetings to support recovery. AA, AL-ANON, and Smart Recovery meetings are offered throughout the month.
In addition to recovery support, we offer a Lunch and Learn series, plus a continuing education program, with a variety of topics, to connect and educate other addiction professionals.
We are committed to staying on top of proven successful innovations in treatment and sharing opportunities with our staff, colleagues and community. Manifest Recovery Centers hosts several continuing education opportunities for addiction professionals and mental health practitioners throughout the year. We also open our facility to independent educators and speakers that need a convenient location to host events.
