At Manifest Recovery Centers, we offer a number of core treatment programs to fit the needs of all clients.
Manifest maintains a six-bed sub-acute detox facility. In 2019, we will be adding an additional 12 beds. During the course of treatment clients are carefully evaluated to ensure that this is the proper level of care. In many cases supportive medications are utilized in order to manage withdrawal symptoms and to curb cravings. Counseling and therapy sessions help modify negative or self-destructive thoughts and behaviors in order to achieve a healthier emotional state. Holistic, or alternative methods, may also be effective when employed during sub-acute detox programs in reducing relapse rates and improving overall well-being.
Our residential program is both safe and effective in helping our clients through the first step towards reaching lifelong sobriety. Our drug and alcohol detox programs are clinically-supervised by the medical staff at Manifest Recovery Centers. Our approach is not one size fits all, as each detoxification process is different. We maintain the highest level of care during this detox process
Partial Hospital Program (PHP)
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed for those that have recently transitioned out of a more intensive program and are looking for additional support in relapse prevention and their overall recovery. While a 24-hour setting program may no longer be needed, we’re here to support clients as they get onto the long-term path of sobriety. Our holistic approach to treatment allows patients to get the help they need through the support of our medical staff and trained therapists.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A step down from PHP, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is ideal for those that are ready to take an even bigger step further in their transition and receive ongoing support in the form of group therapy. These sessions allow clients to dive deeper into prevention tactics as they transition back into a more regular schedule as well as ongoing therapy to further strengthen their ties to sobriety.
Our outpatient program is focused primarily on relapse prevention and providing ongoing support for clients who are recently recovered and working towards long-term recovery. This program allows clients to put into practice all they have learned through their more intensive programs and prepares them to do things like go back to work, school, or care for their family.
Substance Abuse Disorders
Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) is an eight-week program developed by the University of Washington. Modeled after mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for depression and mindfulness-based stress reduction, MBRP tackles the very roots of addictive behavior by targeting two of the main predictors of relapse: negative emotions and cravings. Treatment centers, prisons, and Veterans Affairs centers across the country have implemented the program. A 2014 study published in JAMA Psychiatry found those in MBRP programs for substance use and heavy drinking experienced a significantly lower risk of relapse.
Matrix is an integrative model of treatment. It combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Contingency Management. The model teaches clients to analyze events and change thoughts, behaviors and lifestyle related to alcohol and other drug use. This approach creates explicit structure and expectations by creating the following experiences:
Establishes a positive, collaborative relationship with each client
Teach information and cognitive behavioral concepts
Positively reinforces behavior change
Provides corrective feedback when necessary/roll with resistance
Educates family regarding abuse recovery
Introduces and encourages self-help participation
Uses urinalysis to monitor drug use and take the issue of use “off the table”
